All data sets are also available on the National Open Data Portal data.gov.rs.

Open data are (public) data electronically available in machine readable format so that they can be directly used for development of various applications.

SORS provides only those data that meet the requirements of the Law on Official Statistics and the Law on Personal Data Protection, which fully ensures the protection of personal data.

By opening data sets for the public, SORS wishes to encourage the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of e-Government and other national and international policies.

Open data is intended for all users who want to search and use our data sets - IT professionals, researchers, companies, journalists, government authorities, , local governments and citizens.

By using open data, which SORS has made available, it is possible to develop applications, perform data visualization, etc. Open data can be reused for free, provided SORS is specified as the source.

Data published by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia on the opendata.stat.gov.rs/odata/?id=en-us portal are, unless otherwise stated, available for reuse as open public data in machine-readable form.

The data can be used by any physical or legal person without compensation, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, which include, without limitation, reproduction, distribution, making available to third parties, adaptation and connection with other data, integration into business processes, products and services , changes, as well as other reuses, other than the purpose for which the data were initially collected and processed in accordance with the competences and operations of SORS.

The right of reuse applies both to the content and structure of the published data sets, as well as to the metadata associated with them.

By downloading the data, the users are obliged to refer to the data source at each reuse, in a convenient way (including the name of the institution that made the data available through this portal), indicate the date of download, as well as the address from which the data can be downloaded, thus providing a clear label during each reuse, of any changes, editing or redesign of the downloaded data.
